The first TV program ever to feature hip-hop videos. Almost every popular American MC appeared on the show at one time or another.

The untold story of the world’s longest running video show, Video Music Box. A hip hop mainstay since 1983, VMB gave a platform to artists like Jay-Z, Nas and Mary J. Blige before they hit it big. Host Ralph McDaniels’ archives — amassed over nearly 40 years — reveal the show’s importance to numerous big-name musicians, as well as to the kids that grew up watching.

Combining rare archival footage and in-depth interviews with fans and fellow musicians, this documentary provides fascinating insight into the highs and lows of the infamous Sex Pistols -- the nihilistic British rockers who changed the face of rock 'n' roll with their raw sound and refusal to comply. A punked-out soundtrack includes "Anarchy in the UK," "God Save the Queen," "Pretty Vacant" and "Holidays in the Sun."
